The Chapmans, a bluegrass band, will be playing live tonight at the Bijou Show House in Beach, North Dakota. The show will begin at 7:00 pm.
The Chapmans, who are currently on a national tour, are playing two shows in North Dakota — the Bijou Show House in Beach and the Mysteria Theater in Mandan. They will play at the Mysteria Theatre on Friday, August 14.

The city of Beach, North Dakota is going to be celebrating its centennial July 29-August 2. During this time, Beach will also be hosting its all school reunion. There are many events scheduled for the week.

Bijou Show House Hosts Live Music

Merrill Piepkorn and The Radio Stars will be playing live on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the Bijou Show House in Beach, North Dakota. There will be a variety of music played including country, western, blues, & gospel.
Tickets for this event are $7.50 in advance or $10.00 on the day of the concert. Checks are accepted by mail and tickets at will call by 6:30 pm on July 1st.

Beach, North Dakota to Hold First Half Marathon

To Celebrate 100 Years, Beach, North Dakota will be holding it’s first ever half marathon from Golva to Beach. It be on August 1, 2009, in conjunction with the annual 5K and 10K walk/run. Check-in will be from 5:30 to 6:30 am. The event will start at Gazebo Park (corner of Central Ave. & Main St.), with all events starting simultaneously at 7:00 am. There will be transportation to start points available. Pre-registration for the event is requested, so please register today if you would like to participate.
All participants will receive a t-shirt. Half marathon participants will also receive a participation medallion.
