More Information on Great Plains YP Summit

As I mentioned in my last post about the Great Plains Young Professionals Summit, there is more information to be revealed. Well, I am happy to announce that I finally have some of that ‘more information!’

The keynote speakers for the summit are Susan Power, Joel Kotkin, and Michael Solberg. Other speakers include: Larry C. Skogen, Ph.D., Michelle Wall, Jerry Haas, Mark Puppe, Kevin Tobosa, Mike Mabin, Dr. Debora Dragseth, Scott Wild, Tracy Finneman, Beth Demke, Duane “Dewey” Tietz, and NDANO.

Warming the Cold Call

Reserve Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. for the Warming the Cold Call audio conference to be held at the Strom Center in Dickinson.

COCO (Coalition of Charitable Organizations) will be holding educational opportunities via audio conference for non-profit training. This audio will be presented by John Greenhoe. The sponsor for the event is Dickinson Chamber Denim Days Funding. COCO’s educational opportunities are free to COCO members, $25 for non-members.

2010 Census

Have you completed your 2010 Census yet?

Everyone should have received the 2010 Census in the mail recently. As the envelope it came in states, it is required by law. This means it is very important to take the time to complete it and mail it back in the envelope provided! It should only take about 10 minutes.

Amanda & Julie Meet Peter P. Dog

Last week Amanda Moser & Julie Raatz went to Medora, ND for Medora’s Community Development Project Year-4 Kick-Off Event. The event was an open house at Theodore Roosevelt National Park with a silent movie that was 91 years old. The event was well attended & Amanda & Julie event got the opportunity to meet Peter P. Dog, the park’s newest onsite reporter.

Medora’s Community Development Project is intended to help build the Medora community. Everyone who lives & works in Medora is welcome to attend any of the community development events! Who knows, you may get the opportunity to meet Peter P. Dog too!
