The Dickinson Young Professionals Network (DYP) is a locally operated organization that is looking to impact their community and its members. The mission of the DYP is to unite young professionals in the area by networking socially and professionally, by offering an exchange of ideas and informational opportunities, and by creating strong ties within the community.

The events that have been scheduled this year outline their mission statement and look to recruit influential members that are willing to contribute and give back to the community.
Socials have been scheduled that celebrate locally owned restaurants and activities, including the Brickhouse, JD’s BBQ, Queen City Club, and the Elks. The Service team also has community projects planned to benefit all. A community clean up day and working with charitable organizations is planned this spring. Professional Development opportunities are also made available. Luncheon speaker sessions cover areas such as city involvement, local businesses, networking in the community, conflict management, and state leadership opportunities. HomeTown Competitiveness and DYP is coming together to sponsor a scholarship for one person to attend Rural Leadership North Dakota. This state leadership class is a 2 year program offering a behind the scenes in-depth look at what it takes to lead.

A website is available that keeps people connected with activities and happenings of the Network.

To find out more information or join DYP, call or email Amanda Lynn Moser at 701-483-2830 or Amanda.Moser@dickinsonstate.edu.
