Badlands Activities Center Groundbreaking Ceremony

There will be a groundbreaking cermony for the Badlands Activities Center (BAC) on Monday, January 5, 2009.  The ceremony will be held in the Student Center Ballroom on the Dickinson State University campus.  It will begin at 1:00 pm.  The event is free to the public and will include stadium-style refreshments.  It will include a mock groundbreaking ceremony and a program featuring comments from government, secondary and higher education, and university officials.

Dickinson’s Got Talent

Beginning January 8th and lasting until February 26th will be “Dickinson’s Got Talent” in Dickinson, North Dakota.  It will be similar to the NBC TV series “America’s Got Talent.  The event will take place every Thursday evening in the Prairie Hills Mall .  Registration will be at 5:30 pm with auditions to begin at 7:00 pm.  “Dickinson’s Got Talent” will be open to the public.  For more information please contact Arts on the Prairie at (701) 483-4542.
