Dickinson, ND Entrepreneur Impacts Tourism With GPS Project

At the Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, we are looking to tell the stories of the great innovations that are born right here in Southwest North Dakota.  Kyle Thiel, from Dickinson, is a perfect example.  Kyle is the webmaster at Dickinson State University and is taking tour guides to a whole new level.  With his invention of the vGuide, a GPS based tour guide for the traveler, he is bringing an element of education to the visitors of our area.  It’s an electronic tour guide that delivers relevant information based on what landmarks you are near.  It works not only in the car, but on foot as well.  We are interested in following the success story of Kyle and his great invention and will provide you updates from time to time as to how they are doing.  Congratulations to Kyle.
